Day trip to Englewood started the day with a walk at Oyster Creek Environmental Park. It is dog friendly on a leash. Nice walk in the woods on a beautiful day. Not a pile in site. Thank you for being responsible owners and leaving it in great shape for everyone to enjoy!Several brigdes over skinny water with lots of fish, school was definitely in! Boats coasting and motoring by.So many people enjoying the day cycling the trails and others walking their dogs, everyone was very friendly. What a great start to the day!Like and see this great place in the photos.Take a hike!#CharlotteCounty#AllTrails.com#EnjoySWFL#SeeSWFlorida

Large trail system beyond the kayak launch. The trails displayed on the map are fairly accurate. Most of the system is wooded with a few spots that look out onto water. If you’re up for a long day of hiking, the trail system connects to Cedar Point Park across Placida Rd (there’s a walking path under the bridge) and Ann & Chuck Dever Park. Some sections back up to residential areas with direct access to the neighborhood in a couple spots.Overall, a nice park with maintained trails and a chance to see some wildlife.

You can get some exercise in nature here. The trees are pretty awesome, but there’s not otherwise a lot to see. Cell service is good inside so you can use Google maps to help navigate the trails if needed. For the best scenery, I think you are better off at nearby Lemon Bay.

It was nice scenery while kyacking.. if your wanting to look ar the back if people’s houses.. I was expecting more like trails in the water to see wildlife. But water was calm. Kyack Launch clean cut. Easy to load and unload kyack at the water.
