This is truly how vacation should be in Maine. Too many people today go to resorts, by expensive lobster rolls, and do tourist stuff you could do at your own hometown. These cabins were awesome. We stayed here for a couple nights. Rustic but clean. Perfect for what a true Maine vacation should be. It’s adjacent to the lake with great access, free kayaks, perfect dock, and great swimming. We had an awesome time. The best I can describe it as being authentic and awesome.

We absolutely love it! That’s all I can say.The owners are so nice and friendly we stayed extra days here. The cottages have the best view in town.Has a large green area if you have kids and playground / fun activities for them and also lots of activities in the water if you like fishing, canoeing and plus.We are definitely coming back again.

The cottages are very clean and well equipped and maintained and you can not beat the view, since you have the lake just a few yards from your windows. Misty and Joe are exceptional nice people and a pleasure to talk to. We stay here every time we are in the area and highly recommend this lovely place.

Stayed 3 nights with my tween and teenager. Nicely appointed cabin with a rustic porch. Very nice.Free rein on using their kayaks, canoes, stand up boards, and life jackets. The kids had a blast. These amenities were greatly appreciated and afforded a great value.Rented a pontoon boat from Captain Roger who is a half mile up the Moose river. Spent the day on the lake. Wonderful! Just watch for the black buoy 10 ft off the Rockwood cottage docks. It marks a pile of rocks that can damage your propeller.Great view of the lake from the front of cottage 1.Couple miles from the Rockwood Pub. Great food and very attentive waitresses. We’ll be back. Thank you!

Unbelievably beautiful landscape, especially during a snowy afternoon into night.Me and my buddy went out on the lake this season for trout. It was a great couple days, and can’t wait to go again.
