This park use to be a better park, after they changed the playground equipment It’s now geared to toddlers. Swimming area has improved and it looks like there are canoes the public can possibly rent. And there are public bathrooms. There is a boat launch.
This is such a great park for families! The playground is great for all ages and there are bathrooms/changing rooms with baby changing stations. The water is a gradual incline with docks and a sand/pebble beach.
Terrible experience, dirty, gross, smelly. Adopted a cat and upon signing papers they gave him a dis-temperament shot. No rabie shot, not fixed, told us about the earmites until after signing papers and paying. Also came home with fleas.
Beautiful, clean and fun place for the whole family! The new playground is enjoyable for all ages, not to mention the larger size of it allows for lots of kids to play around without it feeling packed or overwhelming. The new bathrooms are impeccable and a great new additions. My kids love coming here to play and swim in the lake! I would highly recommend this park to all my family and friends!
Went here to see what they have for dogs. First thing I noticed was a cat in a very small cage outside, it’s hot today. But then peeking inside he was probably better off than the ones in there! There were four vehicles in the parking lot, we rang the bell and actually opened the door (smell was powerful) and still no one bothered to show up. Some guy noticed us just before we left in the parking lot, but when I waved to him he turned around and walked away. I feel bad for these animals. This facility could use some major help too
DO NOT GO TO THIS SHELTER!!!!! I paid NULL dollars for two unneutered cats that ended up having fleas, ear mites and tapeworms. They weren’t vaccinated for rabies either. I have dished so much money on these cats trying to get them healthy. When I asked for my money back they blocked me. Awful awful awful shelter. DO NOT GO HERE.
Adopted my newest addition from here after my long time house rabbit passed away. Carter and I are getting along great. Someone dumped this little cutie in a garden to fend for herself, after only a couple days at home, she has mastered the litter box and snuggling in the chair. Thanks to the PVHS for making it possible!
