West side park is a nice park. It has e separate playgrounds. They are sometimes not in the best repair but over all they’re pretty nice. My kids are always wanting to play in a sandpit and there isn’t one here, just in case you’re interested in knowing that. This is a large nice park. It would be nice to see a splash pad here in the near future.

West side park is good and bad, it has good play areas for children of all ages a nice pavillion perfect for parties and such and tennis and basketball court. The only bad thing I have personally noticed that might be a problem is that the restrooms seem to be locked quite often and that can come to be an issue and other than that the later at night you get there are some other teen agers that like to come out and sometimes cause some issues throughout the day it’s a great place to go to have some fun

My father built this park many years ago. I remember going with him to guide the Cat around the land, moving trees, planting trees, helping to decide what recreational programs would be included in the park. I love the military memorial, probably because I am in the memorial. The fire works were great. The ball field, tennis courts and Boy Scout Cabin are very nice for the park. I spent many hours as a scout going to the park to camp, scout meetings and receiving my Eagle Scout. It is a great place to bring your family on the weekend. I enjoyed my last visit a great deal.

This is a nice park, it used to be the old Jr High for Tolono Unity. The eastern portion of the park serves as soccer and baseball/softball fields as well. The western portion had the children’s pay area which my kids love. There is a paved walking path around the whole park. There is a parking lot and this park also houses the unit 7 superintendent office.

I grew up in this park. It’s nice, relatively big and some nice playground equipment. I love that they still have the giant bug! I think it’s been there since the 70’s. Unfortunately they’ve had some tree damage recently. And it doesn’t look like they have the money to maintain the ones still standing. My grandpa Jerry would be sad to see that. On the plus side, the playing fields are top notch.
