FAQ for Bixler Lake Public Access Boat Launch in Kendallville Indiana:
Awesome trails and beautifully kept grounds. These folks always have excellent programs
Nice beach- well taken care of, tobe completely honest
Would be nicer with better grills or seating options closer to the beach or maybe some shade on the beach. Cleaner water would be nice too. The water has gotten gross over the years you can hardly fish in some areas. Bathrooms could be updated. Didn’t see a bathroom on the back side only the front side.
Always have a good time visiting herd alone or with the family. Always something surprising to see hiding right in front of your eyes! There story walks as well so you can read fun books while walking through the trail as well! Make sure to wear boots and be prepared to maybe get a little dirty and have a lot of fun! Thanks staff!
Beautiful spot to pull over and watch the sunrise. Very peaceful. Randomly came upon this area killing time driving around the block in the area. There is also a gazebo to sit at as well. Wish we had more time to explore further into the other parts of this park. Believe we saw signs for a beach nearby.
Very clean pubic areas. Plenty of room for parking walk/bike path all the way around the lake. Shore fishing is only accessible on the west side of the lake for the most part, but there are plenty of places to fish. Restrooms were kept very clean
Whether sitting in your vehicle or taking a walk, Bixler is a peaceful place to enjoy a bit of nature.
