We loved that it had two separate areas, one for the bigger dogs and one for the smaller ones. Each area has benches to sit down on and at least one to two toys for the dogs to play with. Each area has a water fountain and a bowl for watering the dogs.

It was all muddy and smaller than expected. But that was just one side. The other side was okay but small.

Cute, small, and clean park. A small playground. Not ideal for toddlers, more for older kids. Picnic tables, shade, and grass areas. No bathrooms.

Sandy Briggs

This is a very good fenced in area for dogs to run and play and get some exercise. There are sheltered benches for dog walkers to sit and take a break if they want to stop and relax

Small dog park (but well kept)Street parking or lot at Animal Shelter next door.Fully fenced two seperated areas, one for small dogs and one for Large. Single shared double gated entrance.Garbage bins and poop bags in the shared entrance.Water on site and working as of this review. Bowls providedBenches and shade. Open roof pavilion in each section.Low cut grass covers the majority of both parks.Unfortunately there were no other dogs when we visited. No restroom/porta potty

Great little park with lots of room to play. Grills on site for your BBQ pleasure. Just no public bathroom

This place worked well as an in-between meeting place for family from the East Bay and two of us from Sacramento. Getting there is a beautiful river drive to Walnut Grove; this park is a block or so off the main road. It has cemented paths, benches, picnic tables, a play structure for children, trees for shade, and even grills for cooking. It was clean and quiet when we were there on a Sunday, but it’s across from an elementary school, so weekdays are probably busier in the area.

Anthony Riles

Very nice park. They need to service the garbage cans more frequently as several of the cans were overflowing.

Sacra Mento

Small park with 2 swings and a jungle gym that had a slide. Good enough for kids. Located next to the Walnut Grove library, so it’s a perfect place to take the kids after getting their fill of the library. The playground did have a LOT of really hungry mosquitoes, so take mosquito repellent. The bites still itched 3 days later ahhhh!
