Vast majority of dogs who come here are super nice! Cosmo loves this place
Nice little park in the neighborhood. I like that it is separated for small and large dogs. Only one bench and two training things for the dog in the shade. Also I didn’t like the sand. It gets in the dogs coat and is a pain to clean.
Grass for your fur babies. Excellent fenced area for small dogs and large dogs. Pickleball/tennis Courts. And a playground for the kiddos. Picnic area and a walking path.

I love this place and so does my dog! They have so much fun! It has lots of agility things and a separate side for large and small dogs. Plus poop bags and water although don’t allow your dog to drink from the fountain itself because of the bacteria that is spreading with the respiratory infection. It’s pretty well kept and has bathrooms, playgrounds, picnic areas and pickleball courts.
This place worked well as an in-between meeting place for family from the East Bay and two of us from Sacramento. Getting there is a beautiful river drive to Walnut Grove; this park is a block or so off the main road. It has cemented paths, benches, picnic tables, a play structure for children, trees for shade, and even grills for cooking. It was clean and quiet when we were there on a Sunday, but it’s across from an elementary school, so weekdays are probably busier in the area.
