FAQ for Clark Dominguez Trail in Rocklin California:
Park at Clark Dominguez Park and head in that way to avoid the gated community entrance noted on the map. Walk across the street to the trailhead. Here on a Saturday morning and there was no one here. LOTS of hills so be prepared. Trail is paved, beautiful and quiet.
We went from Creek Drive to Park Drive exit, but the gate was closed👍🏻
I am guessing this park extends off into private gated community across the street. All I found was a regular city park with some sidewalks. What am I missing? Google maps tried to take me into one of those gated places which, of course, I couldn’t enter. 🤷🏻♂️
A beautiful trail, there are some steep sections (15%), however it is entirely paved asphalt.
