Maddy and I walk the park every day. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening, there’s always plenty of space to play n train! I think I accidentally joined a dog walking gang in the mornings haha! Other owners are always super welcoming and I’ve yet to meet a dog that isn’t a total sweetheart.

Great dog park close to downtown. It’s nice and pretty large for being so close to downtown but would love a couple trees or something to offer shade throughout the park

(No water) even so, one of our FAVORITE dog parks in Madison. Finally a fully fenced DP that’s big enough for Lena Bear to sprint without limits. Always positive experiences with other dogs/owners. Some baggies at the entrance. Two entrances across from one another.

Murphy loves the tall grass here, and it is very convenient to get to! I very much appreciate that this park utilizes all of the space on the Alliant Energy Center Expo grounds when there isn’t an event going on too!

If you live downtown Madison or near Alliant Center this is a nice place to run your dogs off leash. Not much shade because it’s Prarie with trails, but larger than most dog areas. Park at the Goowin Maintenance facility and have a great time.

Great park considering its size. Some good regulars with minimal instances of conflict. Good for post rainy days since it’s turf.

I’ve just started going there this year. I like the location and parking could be a pain, but you have a dog so walking to me isn’t an issue. It’s always open and it’s mostly artificial turf which is good for rainy days but they also have an area with a couple trees and gravel. It’s small compared to most parks but your dog will get a good run in…even with a lot of smaller dogs. One thing I can say is that mostly everyone knows how to deal with their dogs and don’t freak out because your dog is bigger than theirs.

Great park for beginner dog owners up to expert dog owners! Park is small enough to keep a close eye while still giving your pups enough space to roam and play. Bags on site, always stocked. Usually a ball or two laying around & folks bring their owns that get shared commonly. Owners get to know each other here and I’ve even met up with folks for pup play dates! There’s a lamp so it’s lit up at night, big plus. Couple tables to sit at and you get to enjoy the beautiful view of the lake! One of my favorite smaller parks in Madison
