Maddy and I walk the park every day. Whether it’s morning, afternoon, or evening, there’s always plenty of space to play n train! I think I accidentally joined a dog walking gang in the mornings haha! Other owners are always super welcoming and I’ve yet to meet a dog that isn’t a total sweetheart.

We’re all coming out of our gopher hole and taking the pooches to the park. Truth be told this park was on and poppin’ all winter long. This park is among our favorites. It’s such a nice park. I can’t say it enough.

This is our absolute favorite dog park in Madison!Such a beautiful path along the water, with lots of room to explore and run free!Lucy and Stella would give it 10 stars each if they could!

(No water) even so, one of our FAVORITE dog parks in Madison. Finally a fully fenced DP that’s big enough for Lena Bear to sprint without limits. Always positive experiences with other dogs/owners. Some baggies at the entrance. Two entrances across from one another.

Murphy loves the tall grass here, and it is very convenient to get to! I very much appreciate that this park utilizes all of the space on the Alliant Energy Center Expo grounds when there isn’t an event going on too!

If you live downtown Madison or near Alliant Center this is a nice place to run your dogs off leash. Not much shade because it’s Prarie with trails, but larger than most dog areas. Park at the Goowin Maintenance facility and have a great time.

This is one of my favorite off leash dog parks in Dane County. The Northside is great – there’s clean water for all the doggie paddles, wooded and sunny trail areas and nesting Eagles this year (lots of water birds in general as well). My dogo’s & I love this place!Still one of our favorite!

Great dog park. Lots of shaded wooded areas and multiple spots for your dog to take a dip in the water. You can check the Madison Parks website for algae status. There is a smaller area for small/geriatric dogs.

We LOVE this place 🙂 best park in town! All the fun wildlife viewing, excellent birding, beavers, and puppies! Great mix of lawn for running, woods with trails, and water to cool off in on hot summer days.
