It was pretty. Nice scenery but there’s a main road next to the park and it can get pretty noisy. Watch your step because there is a lot of duck and dog poop. There are cats that Rome the park sometimes but they have a owner so there is no need to feed or take them.

Beautiful spot along the river that isn’t out of the way to get to. Also nice because you are so close to other places of interest and activities.
Others mentioned swimming… I don’t intend to be a kill joy Karen but I would highly advise against that activity, particularly down stream a ways near Sandy Bottom golf course. There is severe undertow in that area many people have drown there including my step father and a close friend.

It’s a nice little park to visit. Scenery is beautiful. You can also swim, kayak, or fish in the river.

Nice place to fish or feed the ducks, but not much else. A couple of picnic tables, a water garden and some historical markers are the highlights here. Met some friendly folks though.

Super nice park, impressive clean and green. Kids loved it.
