FAQ for Jacksonville Drew Park in Jacksonville Florida:
Great turf fields, if you’re playing in a tournament, fields are dry as soon as rain stops, far less delays. Lots of parking
The restroom was locked and I’m just curious why can’t we get keys to the bathroom when tables are reserved? They could also provide a ranger in the park during the games etc; leaving early was my only option with no accessible bathroom.
Great playground! I’m really glad it’s been renovated – it’s clean and fun for kids.
Very nice and well kept fields with excellent umpires and food stand. Only negative is no canopy covering over the bleachers. Temp’s were in the high 90’s and found it impossible to enjoy a game. Need to look at taking care of that issue.
It’s a nice park with lots of shade, which is great, but I didn’t feel completely safe because of the tall trees. I noticed some had fallen, and it feels risky—especially during strong winds.
We love the upgrades of this nicely shaded brand new playground! So much space for kids to run around, and lots of shades so it doesn’t get overwhelmingly hot. Great for all ages, kids small and big.
Its a nice setup. The fields are for league play, you cant just show up and have a pickup game. Infields are turf so crazy hit in the summer but always a consistent bounce. Outfield is in better condition than most but there is a lip where the infield turns to outfield.
My kiddos and I explore parks around Jacksonville, and found this little playground right by a school. We had a fun morning, love that it had a walking trail and playground with lots of shade. The only downside was there weren’t any trash can near any of the picnic tables, or playground, so there were trash all over the place. If you are looking for some fun parks with playgrounds around Jax, check out our page on Instagram @littleexplorers.bigworld
It’s a very nice place! Tall pine trees surround the playground, and it’s so peaceful and quiet out there. The playground is great for different ages. There are no restrooms, though. The parking lot is perfect. And also there are beautiful trails near the playground! The only thing that I didn’t like was trash on trails. The woods are really beautiful, but the plastic bottles and other stuff are just gross.
