My dog loves walking this park
Playground with 🛝 swings 🏀 and 🎾 courts. Like the others have said, there was a lot of trash all over. Equipment is fairly new and fun. There’s a large field and a walking trail.
Visited on July 9, 2022 and I agree with the other post. Trash everywhere. Trash cans too, so I don’t understand why people don’t put their trash into the provided receptacles just a few steps away. I guess they just don’t care.
The playground equipment is nice, but there’s a lot of trash on the ground. We won’t be coming back.
This place does not offer much. It is a bit of wooded land with a few clearings tucked away between Jackson and Lee Rd near I-295. It butts up against residential houses and nearby mobile homes. The area seems use more by vagrants or homeless people than by folks looking to take a stroll through a park. There was at least one tent camped out there. The area does have several short, fairly well-maintained trails, although recent rains have made some of the area muddy.
