FAQ for Liberty Pointe Dog Park in Midway Park North Carolina:
Very nice park for the littles, teens and adults. Playground, volleyball, basketball and up to a 3.4 mile hiking trails. Charcoal grills and bathrooms on site as well. Playground is completely fenced in and mostly sand grounds. Some of benches and tables are old and very weather, but we did see new lumber staged for likely replacements. Dogs welcomed but on leash only. No alcohol allowed.
Very spacious and l like that each room, has a bathroom.
Dirty park with lots of animal droppings everywhere. Cool toys for them to run around on, but not very well kept area at all. Place is under new management now and I’m sure it’s already doing a little better. Previous property managers were a joke.
The equipment is in good condition, and the area is spacious enough and fenced in. That said, my smaller dog (20lb Cavapoo) was able to shimmy under the gate (fence has several areas with holds are large gaps) to run back to the car while I was getting his brother, a Cocker Spaniel. They had fun trotting around! Be nice if there were shaded areas; but at least there’s a bench, trash cans and dog waste bags provided. That said, there were at least 10 piles of poop across various areas so I definitely kept a close eye on the boys, and my steps.
Always well kempt and provides a good, fenced in area for the dogs. It’s right next to a small field and children’s playground, so it’s optimal location provides easy access and multiple options for the family
A park for dogs or should I say just a plot of grass. Not sure why this is even a place separate from Liberty Pointe Apartments but it is cool they have a dog park.
