Today at about 5pm it wasn’t insanely busy yet. All those little red circles is how much dog poop I found while strolling around with my dog…on just the lower level of the park. And there was so much more every where else. Every table my friend and I sat at we could smell poop because there was always piles near us. Our dogs stepped in it multiple times while running around. Staff does not clean up after dogs…. Owners should clean up after dogs, but if they leave their dogs unattended while eating, using the restroom or getting drinks because the outside bar isn’t open, the staff should be doing it. This is part of the reason we haven’t renewed our membership… It’s dirty. It is unsanitary to have this much poop siting around to be stepped in. And those piles remained for the 3 hours we were there. Don’t know if they got picked up any time after that… Lots of areas too, where there was poop smeared and I remember they used to get cleaner and scrub it out. I didn’t see one staff member do so. Paying to sit and smell poop, step in poop, watch our dogs step in poop while playing is a big part of why we don’t care to come back. Also dog tenders having convos rather than watching the dogs. No one stopped or tried to step in when my dog was being chased with her tail between her legs. She was not playing she was trying to get away…. The bark tenders used to help when this place was newer. Not sure why they are there as they won’t clean the park or intervene in a timely manner if needed.

Great place they thought of everything. Staff are great, dog tenders are awesome. These are not snacks, but employees that keep watch over the dogs to make sure all are having fun. One came by and remembered Charli’s name for the rest of the evening. Felt like a family experience. Would buy a membership if I was closer definitely. Great experience definitely be back.

This bar was clean, food was amazingly delicious. Dogtenders are super helpful and entire area was pretty clean. You have to try their smash burger!

Hoping for a better attempt next time. Found this after downloading BringFido app. Guest pass for the day (weekends higher @ NULL for our furry friend) was not too bad for the potential we were anticipating. Traveling here for a weekend with my KU Student, we always struggle finding a place to eat with our dog Molly in tow. At first we were extremely excited and pleased that Molly was especially well behaved. The outside staff was AWESOME and very helpful, said they could watch over her while we went inside as a family for the first time in forever. If it stopped there we could have given a five star rating. Now, I’m not mad, just let down on the dining experience. Understanding it’s a dog park with a bar that serves food too is quite a feat to take on. So room for improvement lies in the customer service training, which usually always takes care of itself. To be fair, my wife said she thought the waitress said she was almost brand new to the job, so 40 minutes for our chicken wing appetizers to come out at the same time as our meals was more than a bit concerning. NULL for 2 Smash Burgers with a sprinkling of fries, a NULL chopped up pretzel and (the best value for serving size to price ratio – but still high at NULL) a twelve piece Buffalo Chicken Wing basket. There were just too many shortfalls to mention without seeming vindictive, so again, room for improvement. Overall, the joy Molly had playing with all the other dogs overset the less than stellar food experience we went through this time – and no more than one ( at least I think there was one working propane heater in the on leash outside eating patio.) Timing is everything, but I still feel like I’d try it at least one more time in warmer weather to make sure they hit their potential for service. Thank you for the Free Pup Cup for our first visit!!!

Small rural town park. Small picnic pavilion. Playground is several pieces of monkey bars which now are considered “dangerous” by NIMBYS compared to newer playgrounds. No bathroom. May have water via a frost free tap in the park. We visited May 2023.
