When you add the majestic scenery to how well the camp is maintained and set up, you couldn’t ask for anything more. Then you experience the campground itself.
You can rent a cabin with A/C, pitch up a tent, or have the largest RV with full convenience hook ups. Playground, horseshoes, beautiful swim hole, catch & release pond, shaded areas, open field areas, and a camp store with plenty of options. The shower areas are spotlessly clean, well appointed and offer the very comfort of home.
The owners, Miranda & Steven are very open, engaging and lovely people. This campground is their personal pride and it really shows for all the guests who have the pleasure of visiting!
Beautiful campground!! Clean and quiet, great for the family. We could see an eagles nest from our campsite and watching the mama and her babies was a highlight of the trip! Private shower rooms were definitely a bonus! The swimming hole was gorgeous and so refreshing, the kids had so much fun swimming here
My family, our friends, and I stayed at Rivers Edge over the holiday weekend and had an amazing time. We really appreciated that it’s a smaller campground—it made for a more peaceful and relaxing stay without the usual crowds. The amenities were great: a pond for fishing, a swimming hole, a playground for the kids, and easy access to the river just a short walk away. This has easily been one of our favorite campgrounds we’ve visited this year! The bathroom and shower facilities were exceptionally clean and well-maintained, and everyone we encountered was friendly and respectful. We definitely recommend this campground and look forward to coming back!
My husband and I were really impressed with this campground. The grounds were kept up very well. The camp store on site was really nice. My husband used the bathhouse and said it was very clean. This was a spur of the moment coming here. We were coming to the end of our 17 day camping trip with the kids at the Outer Banks. When I seen a tropical storm was forming, I started to search for campgrounds heading north towards Pennsylvania. A lot of the campgrounds were booked because it was a holiday weekend but another issue I was having is many places required a 2 night stay. I got very lucky to find this place and highly recommend it.
We stayed in site 39 but all the sites were big and it does fit fifth wheels. Also everyone was very friendly.

From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean, well-maintained, and beautifully situated everything was. The sites are spacious and thoughtfully laid out, offering a perfect balance of privacy and community. Whether you’re in a tent or RV, the setup is ideal.
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming—true hospitality from start to finish. They go out of their way to make you feel at home and are always around if you need anything. The bathrooms and showers were spotless, which is always a huge plus when camping.
The river access is just the cherry on top. It’s peaceful and scenic—great for fishing, or just relaxing with your feet in the water.
