The lakes off the beaten path are picturesque. You must walk a bit through the woods to get to them but very worth it. There are also huge boulders in the woods that are quite interesting to see.

Beautiful lakes. And I love that they have a separate lake stocked only for the handicapped and children. The Only way I would change it would be to add a playground for the little ones and i would fix the bathrooms(they’re pretty gross). Other than that, it is an amazing place to take your family. I love the fact that I used to come here when I was little, and now I get to bring my kids, and hopefully (20 years from now) they’ll bring their kids and make some beautiful memories.
