What an amazing experience! We had been driving for two days and this was an absolute test for our physical body, our soul and our spirit. The walkway was level and wide. There were so many people out enjoying it! Truly a much needed addition to the area.

The Greene River Trail is a 7 mile long well- maintained trail for hiking and biking. It parallels the Monongahela River with beautiful views.

The trail goes past former mining sites and Rice’s Landing, where the historical WA Young Foundry is located. Along the way are numerous informational signs that explain both the history of the area as well as the trees, animals and birds along the trail.

The Greene River Trail is remote but worth the trip!
