We walk our cardikids here all the time. We love the balanced flat walk ( when we want elevation we choose a different walk) we like the sights, smells and sounds as do the dogs. We also like the poop bags & disposal available.

Very simple but beautiful trail. You should see some kind of wildlife every evening.

Someone has named this a dog park not sure who but it’s fitting as it’s been a great place for the past 15 years probably longer to take your dog for a walk and look at wildlife near the the port/mouth of the river. It starts at the rivers edge/slough
goes under the bridge and out to the port entrance. All the county/residents ask is that you please pick up after your dog and keep them naughty but lovable dogs on leash when others are around.
Note: it’s not inclosed and there is a busy road near the entrance.
