Memorial Dog Park in Hawthorne, California

Memorial Dog Park is a small, pet-friendly park located at 3901 W El Segundo Blvd, Hawthorne, CA. Known for its grassy surface and shady spots, this dog park gives local dog owners a convenient place for pups to run and socialize in the heart of Hawthorne. Although the park is on the smaller side and generally quiet with minimal crowds, it is appreciated for its cleanliness and open space.

While there are some basic amenities such as grass and shade, the park currently lacks water fountains, seating, and waste bags, so visitors should come prepared. There are separate areas for small and large dogs, though some regulars have suggested combining these for a more spacious experience. The smallest dog park I have ever seen. But it’s clean. And at least it’s there. So thank you.

The positive: they have grass and shade. (These must haves gives it 2 stars instead of 1)
The negative: Very small. They should just combine both areas into 1 for all dogs.
No water fountain for your dog.
No trash bags, so there is so much poop everywhere.
No place to sit, bring your own chair.

Small and quiet, but filled with poo from other dogs. I want to go back, but that in itself is a deal breaker.
