Great little urban park in the pearl district. Has a large grassy middle area (currently not an available due to construction but will return) park sometimes hosts events like beer brew festivals etc. on one end there’s fenced in off leash dog areas that are great, there’s some kids play areas on opposite side for younger ones. An outdoor bathroom (not always open however) and a walking pathway around the park which takes up a city block. Surrounding area is full of restaurants, coffee shops, ice cream shops, public transportation and two additional parks are within two blocks of this one.

This is the worst dog park that we have ever visited. It is small, no grass with bad drainage. The soil is like crushed cat litter and smells the same. It is an embarrassment to have this be the only off leash dog area in the Pearl. The main park was nice until they tore much of it up over 18 months ago with no end in sight. Just recently, with no explanation, they have fenced off what was left of the grassy area of the park. Sad.

Nice park for taking a walk. Large circle with Shell sculptures around it. All of the dogs were very well behaved. Lots of deciduous trees including many Ginkgo Biloba which is becoming more populous in the Portland area.
