Kenilworth Park is a scenic, pet-friendly neighborhood spot in the heart of Southeast Portland, OR. Famous for its beautiful big trees, lush grassy areas, and winding paths, this park offers locals and visitors a chance to relax and play with their dogs in a picturesque setting. The park includes plenty of mature greenery, making it one of the more charming places to enjoy a dog walk or an afternoon outside.
Although Kenilworth Park isn’t a designated off-leash dog park, many dog owners enjoy the open spaces to exercise their pets, toss a ball, or stroll along the pet-friendly trails. The park features picnic tables, shaded areas thanks to the tall trees, and a peaceful atmosphere away from the main road. Its central location also makes it ideal for families, with playgrounds nearby and regular community events, like concerts. If you spend the day, you’ll find it’s a clean, well-cared-for urban oasis for both dogs and their humans.

Listened to a concert in the park (thank you Park Board!) at this lovely little park. Actually it’s a bit bigger than it looks from the main road. It’s got a great little natural amphitheatre and a couple of playgrounds.
