Located in the northeast corner of Wilshire Park, the Off-Leash Dog Area is a welcoming spot for Portland dog owners looking for a spacious, wooded environment to let their pups run. This dog park in Portland, Oregon, features a generous open area designated with posts rather than fencing, making it best suited for dogs with reliable recall skills who enjoy exploring pet-friendly trails without the confines of an enclosure.
While there are no fences, the off-leash section is clearly marked, and visitors will enjoy mature trees and ample room to play fetch, socialize, or simply stroll through the scenic park setting. Due to its unfenced nature and proximity to busy roads, extra caution is advised for dogs with a tendency to wander. Overall, it offers a beautiful, natural off-leash experience close to central Portland for dogs and their humans.

My dog’s favorite park. He loves running around the large area for dogs. No fences if your dog needs them.

Unfenced and bordered by 2 busy roads, large area but no other dogs when we went. Pretty park to walk around though

Nice park. Many dogs not leashed outside the off leash area though so use caution.
