This was once a great place to hike with scenic trails wild flowers with an array of birds and wildlife. Not any more.Much of it has been turned into farming with acres sprayed with roundup. Many trails are overgrown with invasive shrubs and not accessible. Overall poorly managed

A little bit of everything here. Fishing, shooting range, hunting and trails when they aren’t over grown. The lake and pond are really scenic too.

Good fishing. Nice trail hiking. Relaxed primitive camping (free permit and license required). If you are looking to cast the line a bit, stroll through the woods, or camp/boondocks for the night, I recommend this area.
