Went for the Bluegrass festival held the end of August. Live music from Grammy winners and others. Bring your own chair. Plenty of food vendors. Great, clean bathrooms as well.

This place is awesome and the staff is amazing for the Pickin’ in the Parsons Bluegrass festival. It’s very well organized and maintained. It took us a long time to get a full hook spot for the festival. But once I got a full hook up spot and come to the festival, I wished I would participated earlier. They have excellent level spots and generators are allowed. You don’t have to walk far from the stage. The customer service goes above and beyond. As long as we are able this will be a yearly festival for us. Probably our favorite bluegrass festival! Great music and food!

I’ve been going to five river campground for a couple years now and it’s always a great time. I love the atmosphere and the staff and the owners. Everyone makes you feel very comfortable. I’m going back in a couple weeks for a week of bluegrass and I’m looking forward to the sound of the river at night and bluegrass through the day. Thank you John, Joyce, and Kate for the amazing job that you do. You guys are an awesome group site 200 in shady grove feels like home every time I’m there.
