We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with this park. The roads are a little bit narrow and steep coming in and out, but well worth the trouble. The grounds were meticulously kept. The site was beautiful. The only thing we would have added were showers , but the bathroom facilities were spotless. The campground hosts were undoubtedly the best hosts we’ve ever met. Thank you Horseshoe Recreation Area, for the great experience.

Not worry if they’re safe! Also, it’s a great time for digital downtime! No cell phones, no internet, just good old-fashioned nature!

Absolutely magical. This place is beautiful to camp at. Sites are nice, shaded and large. The creek is clean and great to swim in. The camp host are wonderful. This place is a little slice of heaven.
