Due to my disability, I was unable to go up the steps. That’s cool, though, the area is beautiful and rugged!!

Beautiful views hiking through this river valley, birding can be good along the trail, especially during winter as many species that are hard to find in other locations in the county can be found along here

Beautiful trail. Gravel or road bikes can take on the stretch from Hendricks up to at least several mea, but we bit a path closed sign several miles past Parsons, still a nice and gentle ride good for a few loops of you eant to extend it. Blackwater Canyon is a good extension if you have a mountain bike but for my gravel bike with no suspension, the big chunky gravel was a bit much for me especially given the constant grade. Otherwise that section is really nice and well maintained. Takes you by a ton of waterfalls.

I’ve been walking and eating better as a part of my new healthier lifestyle and the trails are great. I love walking listening to the river alongside the trail and enjoying a little nature along the way.
