Not a lot of parking. The trail is good for about a mile, after that calling it a trail is too kind, there are no trail blazes and getting lost is very easy. My best advise pay attention to landmarks and you can always follow the Creek back out. The road goes over top it. The creek is pretty.

Unfortunately this trail is mostly mud with a “creek” crossing (more like river) that you will certainly get wet. Our destination was lionshead which is unmarked, over the years people have made quite a few side trails I’m assuming because the trail is unmarked which is a bit frustrating. All in all red creek is beautiful in that particular area but I recommend going on this trail in dry season.

A beautiful trail with some challenging sections. There are lots of false trails at the beginning but once you go uphill the trail is easier to follow. Red Creek was raging and there was no crossing it. Everyone should try this one.
