We hiked the Canaan Valley National Wildlife Refuge. Glade Run Crossing, Middle Valley, Sand Run, and Cabin Mountain Trail. Oh my gosh what a stunning hike! There is so much to see on this trail! Slow down and take your time you will be glad that you did. The weather was absolutely perfect. At every water crossing there is some type of walkway. We never got our feet wet. There were a couple of muddy areas, but; were easy to navigate. There is plenty of parking at the trail head. Make sure you download the trail map before you go.

Beautiful Facility and Friendly Staff. Pools are well-maintained and a great part of vacation! Complimentary morning coffee was lacking. Just one unlabeled pot with cups and cream/ sugar. Very basic. I think hot water and tea should be offered, as well as Decaf.

We accidentally found this national wildlife refuge. Maintained walking paths and overlooks in several places. Clean. It is a perfect place for slow strolls. Take your time, sit down, and listen.
