Biscuit and Rosie love love love this place. Do, however, wish there was maybe a portapotty or restrooms, but over all, love it.

In the eastern quarter of town, where the first light of day splits the mist like a sword, there lies a place of wagging tails and airborne tennis balls—Sunrise Paw Park. A realm of sniffed secrets and muddy gallops, revered by pups and tolerated by their humans.

But even in a place so joyful, legends stir.

They speak of the Canine Colossus, a beast not bound by fence nor leash, said to be the size of a minivan with the gentleness of a sleeping pup and the speed of a squirrel-possessed greyhound. Its footprints, large as frisbees, vanish in dew before any can trace them.

On foggy mornings, just before the sun crests the hill, a low howl rides the wind—not a dog’s bark, but something older. The Mysterious Howling Apparition, they call it. Some say it’s the spirit of a dog who never left the park, still chasing the ball that never returned. Others whisper of a spectral malamute, appearing only to those pure of heart and full of treats.

Many have waited for the Colossus, crouched behind bushes with chew toys in hand, but none have seen it clearly. Only a glimpse—a shimmer of fur, a flash of tail, a breath on the wind.

Yet all agree on one thing: every dog who visits Sunrise Paw Park leaves just a little braver, a little more noble… as if touched by something greater.

So if you hear the howl—do not fear. Stand still. Offer bacon. And remember: not all good boys are bound by this world.

Can’t remember if there was 2 or 3 nice large areas for dogs to run in. Fence & gates are very secure! Shade area with seating inside dog area. Grass was nicely mowed. Water spicket for getting your pet’s water dish filled. AND a large area you can pay & wash your dog!
Have a great day. 😀
