Featuring a recently renovated playground, this park offers a variety of amenities, including tennis courts, clean bathrooms, and a short pet-friendly trail through the woods and along a scenic boardwalk. This dog-friendly park stands out for its ample seating, picnic tables, and availability of waste bags to make your visit convenient. The playground is especially popular with children ages six and up, while the picnic areas and benches allow for great visibility—perfect for keeping an eye on your pets and family. Although not fenced or specifically designed for off-leash activities, Beaver Dam Creek County Park is a peaceful, clean, and centrally located option for dog owners in the Point Pleasant area.
Newly renovated playground is different than most in the area. Definitely for ages 6 and up as most of it is just the giant octopus. There isn’t much for younger kids, just the seesaw and a few random stations that really did nothing. I’d definitely take my 7 year old here but for a toddler not worth it. Positive is you can see everything from any of the benches or picnic tables. It’s not fenced in but it’s far enough off the road it’s okay.

Unique playground structure. My
Older children enjoyed but there wasn’t much for my toddler to play. Nice fields and tennis courts. Short and sweet trail. Spent about an hour there and felt like we did it all but had a nice time.
