This was a nice park, overall.
Water was a spigot with a hose and there were only a few bags and a small trash can. Ground was dirt with a section mulched.
Corners of the park were overgrown with grass, weeds, and bushes.
Peopls were friendly and dogs were interested in playing.
Small dog section is available – per the rules, non-small dogs are allowed if all of the small-dog handlers present are OK with it.
I visited this dog park while traveling and it was great. The parking is on the smaller side but the dog park is quite large. This dog park is split in two, one for small dogs under 30lbs and one for large dogs over 30lbs. Both had water, and double gated entrances.
A really nice change of pace if you’re used to wide field dog parks. Park is not terribly big but is in a lovely grove of trees that make it a nice place to hang with your four legged friend on a hot day.
Picnic tables are nice to rest at and there is a hose for water bowl and pool filling.
Park is well kept up and it seemed as if everyone picks up after their dogs. Dogs were well behaved and there was a space for smaller dogs to run too.
There is a nice kids playground next door if you decide to bring small children. Very nice find.
Our pup had a blast! You can tell the people that take their dogs here care for the condition of the park.
My Pup LOVES this park, and so do I! Everyone is so welcoming, as are the doggos! The cleanliness is top notch! There are some people who don’t clean up after their Dogs, but everyone else compensates where others lack! There is PLENTY of space for all of the dogs to play together or separate! There is a smaller adjacent play area for smaller dogs! Very accommodating! I will forever recommend! 🐶🐾 #PuppyApproved
