Westbrook Dog Park is a popular, fully fenced dog-friendly park in Westbrook, ME, designed for safe off-leash play and socialization. The park offers separate areas for small and large dogs, both featuring homemade agility equipment to keep pups entertained and active. Regular visitors praise the friendly atmosphere, making it easy for new dog owners to feel welcome.
This dog park is wheelchair accessible, features convenient parking, and provides amenities like benches, picnic tables, poop bags, and trash bins. While there is no on-site water fountain, visitors can bring their own water or use the shared dog bowl available. The ground is covered in wood chips, keeping things relatively clean, though there’s little grass or shade. It’s a great place for pets and their people to relax or let energetic dogs run off-leash in Westbrook!
The frequent goers are great and if your new say hi. Let them know about yourself and your dog. I have a German Shephard, he’s a great dog once he gets in and can play fetch but since he’s a large puppy his excitment can be a lot if you haven’t met him. I love the dogs and the people that come here.
Always a fun dog day at the Westbrook Dog Park!
Bring water – there is a bowl there, if you don’t mind your pup sharing. Or bring your own.
Convenient. Relatively clean. Nice people. And mostly nice dogs!
Nice, clean dog park with two areas. Large dog area is big enough for pups to run. There are benches, picnic table, and agility equipment in each area. No trees for shade, no water, no restrooms. Neither area had grass, only wood chips. It is a nice park to let your pups stretch their legs.
My Rhodesian Ridgeback loves it there. Met nothing but good people.
Nice park. Ground cover is mostly dirt, with a worm away coay of mulch. Homemade “agility” equipment scattered around.
Bags and trash, but no water Herr.
People were friendly as were the dogs.
