Great little park and swimming spot for those hot days. Small donation can be left in the Dropbox at the guard station ( donation not required but suggested to help maintain the park).
I’ve been going to this park and beach for 30 years and it’s still the same today as it ever was.

Beach should be a little wider. Maybe rake rocks over cause it was painful walking in to swim. Better signs if there’s restrooms or anything.

I’ve been a regular visitor to the park and am super impressed with all the hard work that volunteers contributed this year. The goose poop, which is an unavoidable daily problem, is regularly scooped by the attendants. There is a large float-platform in the swim area, new swim rope/buoys, cleaned-up changing areas, and work was done to control the browntail moth infestation.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices were reasonable. NULL a person free for veterans. Changing room was very clean. Plenty of space for many people swimming area was roped off so you couldn’t go out very deep very safe picnic tables play area for the kids very nice
