The playground is not “little one” friendly at all. Need little one swings and play equipment for smaller kids. My granddaughter is 3. She enjoys the merry-go-round, but the “Rockwall” is steep/slick with very few places to grab/step. No feet and hand holds, like a climbing wall. The “Rosc wall is the only access to the slide, and has no way for smaller kids to access/climb without adult help. It’s a cute theme, just not small kid friendly. The Beach and picking areas are nice.

Beautiful park. Crowded with families. Very clean. Tree shaded areas & also covered pavilions with tables. The beach was lovely. There were several people fishing from the rocks. No lifeguards. Parking lot was full.

The park has been completely remodeled. The biggest change is that it now has a beach. There’s a rock barrier and a path that is parallel to the beach. There are good places to fish and small pavilions with picnic tables. There’s a large children’s playground and a nice facility with bathrooms and an office.
There is one problem though, there is no road signage and it’s hard to find from the Parkway. The park is on the left side of the Parkway, before the Bait Shoo. There is large black metal entrance fence.
If you have children then stay left as you come in the entrance. If you want a quieter area then veer right at the entrance.
There is no signage at the park so you cannot tell if you can walk dogs or have a BBQ.
