They’ve made huge improvements to the parking area and the trails- I thought I loved it before but now I might have to call it perfect! My dog Turkey and I saw snakes, beautiful birds, and insects- I love that by walking this trail I start in wild flowers then walk through wetlands to then end up in a forest. I’m blown away every time by the beauty- thank you to whoever it is that takes such wonderful care of this preserve.

Easy, flat walking trails here. The one trail goes over a bridge, by a marsh, then up to a pond and beyond. I have been here twice and both times, as soon as we passed the pond, the deer flies were so thick we turned back. Through the grassland before the bridge, there are pathes cut through, so we took those. Lots of birds to be seen. There were several really cool snakes by the bridge area.

Lovely moderate trail, not too long. Welcome shade this time of the hot summer, with some easy to evade muddy patches (probably an issue in the fall). Pleasant scenery, quiet. Leashed dogs accepted. Sufficient signage

The trails offer the ability for a nice hike in peaceful woods. The elevation changes really get your heart going but are not to difficult to traverse. Whomever takes care of the trails does a good job. We were able to bring our children as well. If you want a place to enjoy nature and go on a hike, I recommend Pleasant Valley Preserve.
