The hours posted are not accurate which is the reason for my 2 stars. This is a nice trail, but it is not open 24hrs as posted. They have a small sign that’s difficult to find, which says it is only open sunrise to sunset. The hours should be changed online to reflect that. Or, even better, change the park hours to be open 24 hours so people can enjoy the trail more.

Nice one mile walk. The wild flowers are nice but I prefer a tree lined trail.

Usually, this is a good trail (four-star rating is based on usual conditions), and I come here two or three times a month to ride. Today is the day after Isaias, though, and the trail is very rough and bumpy, with several spots where the hard gravel is washed away leaving sandy gravel, sand, or mud. There are trenches where the water ran over the trail. Debris everywhere, of course. And a tree in the way (I rode around it, but still). Just be careful, y’all. I would say mountain bikes only—I have a roadie with wider tires, but I wish I had brought my mountain bike.
