Ches M. Download aka -DL -aka-Download and Ches, has the best time here chasing remote control cars. He can easily get a mile run in.
The park is well maintained. They have a ton of bark down, so checking his paws 🐾 after a good run is essential.

A park with short walking trails over streams. 2 areas of parking. A Pavilion, grill, and playground right by a parking area making it easy for small birthdays. Limited parking even with the two parking areas. A Member’s only dog park with nice amenities but needs some sprucing up. Glass in the ground and has settled in, it definitely needs a comb through. It’s a great though and nice area, just needs some TLC.

I am staying at nearby hotel with a puppy service dog. Paid a taxi driver NULL dollars to enter and realized you need a pass to get in
What was bothersome was the unfriendly attitude of people inside with their dogs.
What a shame. No dog park at hotel I stay at. Anyway an expensive trip to dog park for nothing.

The dog park here is huge, and there is a ton of shade and spots to sit in the shadw! I don’t love that the first part that you enter is all dirt though. I’d suggest not wearing sandals to visit. I’ve only been once so far, but the people we encountered were nice, and the dogs were cute of course. Getting a membership was a but of a pain. You need to do it in person at parks and rec, and it took them a while to set me up.

This public park funded by state and local dollars requires a pre-purchased keycard to access dog park. No opportunity to pay onsite.
