⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “Come for the gas, stay for the chaos”

If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful night’s rest… well, you took a wrong turn somewhere. Little Montana Truckstop and Campground is less of a rest stop and more of an experience—one that will haunt your dreams in the best possible way.

First off, the truck stop itself has everything you could need: fuel, a diner with questionable food choices, and a gift shop that sells both dreamcatchers and bug spray strong enough to melt steel. The diner special was something called “Montana Mystery Meat Loaf.” I asked what was in it. The waitress just laughed and walked away.

The campground? Absolute gold. Within minutes of parking, we witnessed:
✔ A trucker arguing with a raccoon over a half-eaten chili dog
✔ A guy named “Toothless Jim” swearing he saw Bigfoot behind the dumpster
✔ A goat named Carl, who, according to locals, runs the place

Speaking of Carl, he is not your average goat. He has the stare of a war veteran and the attitude of a bouncer at a biker bar. My buddy Racin’ Ricky tried to pet him and ended up face-first in a pile of old hubcaps. Pretty sure Carl has a criminal record.

Would I stay here again? Absolutely. But I’d sleep with one eye open and never, under any circumstances, try to pet the goat.

They are always clean. Awaiting your service. It’s a good stop for family to get a milkshake and coffee, walk your dog and just knowing this will always be here is a warm familiar place.

The people here are so nice. We had some mechanical issues and everyone was there to help. The campground is great fo a stop over.

Friendly staff. Small store located along my route out of Montana.

Nice place, friendly staff. Food was good for a little hole in the wall, but noticed the cook and the woman who I think was managing the place, both touched ready to eat food without gloves. Turned me off a bit especially because you can see into the kitchen. I hope someone there is ServSafe certified.
