I ride this trail about three times a week. Last week I had a very disturbing encounter on the trail with a man who came down the hill at a trail access point. He saw me coming down the trail, but kept moving across the trail while staring at me. He was deliberately walking right towards me on my bike while staring at me and ended up within inches of me and my bike. I had repeatedly yielded to him, moving as far away as I could as he continued to try to walk into my path. I swerved my bike off the trail to avoid him walking right into me. I was certain he was going to grab me or push me if I hadn’t swerved and raced away. He stared at me blankly during the entire encounter and said nothing to me. He made it impossible to avoid him. Have any other women riding alone had an issue with this man? I was petrified and don’t want to ride on this trail anymore. If I do, I will now carry something to defend myself. And I will also report it to the police. There are too many women riding, running or walking alone on this trail. I’m scared for all of us at this time.

Very nice, fully paved biking/running/walking trail with adjacent parks. Some minor hills, but they aren’t steep
