It is nice for a city park in Massillon. It is pretty peaceful with lots of trees, a playground, pavilion, and a disc golf course. The restrooms on the west side of the park are locked and possibly out of order, but there is a Porto pottie on the east side of the park near the parking lot. The parking lot is in fair condition and can comfortably accommodate 10 or so cars.
This is a nice small park. It has some play equipment and a disc golf course. The trail is nice until you start to get close to downtown massillon. I would probably only walk to the factory and then turn around. Lots of trash beyond there and the end of the trail. I will try walking towards dalton next time.
Went to disc golf…love this course! Difficult woods and lots of elevation. Looks like they are replacing the practice basket.
So fortunate to have a nice park like this in town. Literally has everything you’d want. From playground, to open field, pavilion, picnic tables, walking path, and even a disc golf course. Some really cool places to take pictures of kids & family too. Love visiting!
Such a beautiful winter hike and saw so many Robin’s eating berries. Good sign of early spring?
