We came in the off season so it was very quiet. The first night was fine. We booked a cabin. We noticed at first that there was no curtain in the big front window so we had to hang a down comforter in front of it because the drive from the lodge to the cabins is 10 minutes. On the 2nd night we heard scurrying around, but just thought it was creatures outside. On the 3rd day we discovered there was a rodent inside our cabin. So we ended moving to the main lodge which was better.

Best hotel anywhere near GNP. We loved this place. This is REAL MONTANA.
Where locals work and where locals go.
Historical Hotel.
The hotel location is awesome. Tucked in off Hwy 2 between the West and East Glacier entrances. By the train tracks to give it an even cooler rustic vibe but somehow lacks any disturbing noise.
The rooms are very cool, very clean and very comfortable. They offer all sorts of great amenities. (Hammocks, headlamps, camping gear etc.)
Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are nice with good toiletries and good hot water.
Quiet at night.
Breakfast and dinner are fantastic here. The food was stupendous. Everything we ordered and ate was delicious. No reason to leave the hotel really. You know unless you wanna go to the park. But adventure is right outside the door. Definitely eat here though no reason to go anywhere else. Great bar with great drinks.
The real star of this place however is the staff. Everyone was just so kind, friendly, helpful and down to earth. Really great people working here.
There are 3 rockstars who really stood out though and made our stay.
Keanna is a sweetheart. Providing great friendly service.
Steven was helpful, accommodating, informative, very friendly and quite entertaining.
Last but not least there was our man Benji.
He gave us top notch wonderful service. His kindness is genuine and he has a heart of gold. What a great guy!
If you stay here and you really really should, definitely sit in the bar at some point and throw back a few. The bartenders are great (thanks again Steven!!) and the locals are amazing.
You don’t get the full Loge experience without meeting the last of the mountain men Tom and local legend Gumby. These guys have more stories than Mother Goose. Great time!!

Beautiful hotel. The room was small but plenty big enough for myself. Bathroom was exceptionally clean, the shower especially so. Super charmed by all the “borrowable” items. Really love the remote check in + ability to text with questions/concerns. I usually find businesses with personalities grating but found their attitude genuinely fun and relaxed. Definitely felt like they were excited for you to get outside while still giving you a soft bed and hot shower.

One of the best accommodation we’ve stayed in Montana! Service was polite, friendly and professional. Rooms were clean, cosy (fan, heating, windows), and sufficient (microwave, fridge, kettle, hairdryer). There were also picnic tables, campfire pits, and ample of space around for our pup to walk. Finally felt recharged after our night here. The thin walls / train track sounds did not bother us at all. Dinner prices were around NULL-30, and breakfast prices were around NULL-NULL.
