North Park Dog Park, conveniently located at 710 N 22nd St in Billings, MT, is a welcoming spot for local dog owners seeking a safe and friendly environment for their pets. This well-maintained, fully fenced dog park features two separate sides divided by a central gate—perfect for keeping your furry companion socialized while giving you peace of mind. Known for its relaxed community atmosphere, it’s a great place to meet neighbors and let your dog stretch their legs or take a quick potty break.
The park offers shaded areas in the afternoon, benches for relaxing, and water fountains (though water availability may vary). It’s wheelchair accessible and provides ample space for both small and large dogs to enjoy off-leash play. Just remember to bring your own poop bags, as dispensers may not always be stocked. Whether you’re a local or visiting Billings, North Park Dog Park is a top choice for a dog-friendly outing in Montana.
This is a nice dog park with good fences and a double gate. When we were there the water fountains were not working properly – one had no water and the other was squirting it past the dog bowl. The park seems pretty well maintained though, so I imagine this malfunction was temporary.
Very nice place, friendly
Great place to run your furry friends
I go here daily, and I have to say. It’s been great for our community. As a human I have to remember, not everyone is going to be kindly enough to pick up after their dogs. It’s the world we live in. Laziness!
Small but good for a quick potty break and to meet the neighbors. The water fountains are great when they’re working correctly, and the benches are a clutch addition. Good afternoon shade, but can get a little warm at midday. Try to bring your own poo bags—parks hasn’t installed dispensers.
Hate to say it but you do have to be aware of poorly socialized and/or vicious dogs—although their owners do try to keep them controlled. There are two separate sides of the park and a gate in the middle to go between. Folks have gotten better about not leaving the gate open.
