We were thrilled to take our sweet pup to this park. Unfortunately during our first visit this morning, she was attacked by a dog named Hope. I was also bit while trying to protect my sweet dog. I am now going into my doctor this afternoon to get antibiotics and a tetanus shot. After the incident, two other owners told me Hope has attacked other dogs before. I do not recommend this park because owners are not responsible for their dogs.

Nice dog park. I like that there is a separate area for large and small dogs. Plenty of room for dogs to run on both sides.
That said, I don’t like how much wood chips are on the ground in the large dog park. Gets stuck in dogs paws and makes it hard to see where the poop is to pick it up. Therefore, there is a lot of poop not picked up in the wood chip area. Just seems very unclean. The grass area in the back is a better area for the dogs to play. Wish it was all grass like it used to be.
Would also like to add that there are often people who bring their aggressive or very untrained dogs to this park. Not the park’s fault, but something everyone should be aware of. I’ve had a few encounters with dogs with poor behavior and dog owners who have no control over their dogs. Fyi.
Please make sure you have full control over your dogs, and that they are friendly with other dogs/people before bringing them.

I used to enjoy going here, people were friendly and it was well kept. However, now the agility equipment on the larger side has been busted for quite some time as well as just plain missing pieces. The people also that are frequenting this park are quite unfriendly. My pup was trying to play with another pup and for whatever reason it made them mad. I mean it is public? They took their dog to the small side (dog was NOT small) and made some comment about mine not being a nice dog (maybe you should youtube dog play). My dog is 11 months old and was trying to play but I suppose mine wasn’t good enough. I can do without breed discrimination and uptight people.
