My wife and I would like to thank Kelli and the Checotah Bark Resort from the bottom of our hearts. We had been travelling through the area and my wife took ill. My wife was flown to abother city for emergency health issues. Stayed there six weeks. During this dire situation we also had our little “Barky Boy” Solomon with us when all this occured. Having absolutely no one to help us, I crossed paths with Kelli and her kennel. She took care of Solomon till we were able to pick him up. This whole ordeal took nearly seven weeks. Kelli babied our little brat every one of those days and constantly updaded me with pictures and video of his daily adventures. This establishment was a true blessing from God. Had we not crossed paths with her I would have surely lost Solomon. I highly recommend Checotah Bark Resort to anyone who has a furry family member that needs to take a little vacation. Thank you Kelli for everything. You were a true blessing and lighthouse in the darkest moment Michelle and I have weathered during the rough seas called life. Will remember you forever. Our dog LOVES coming here! As soon as he knows we are there, he immediately runs inside because he knows he’s somewhere he is taken care of. Kelli lets our dog (English Mastiff) have yard time and play with her own dog, which he loves. She has been quick to respond and easy to schedule. Definitely highly recommend!

Our two little Chihuahua mixes love Checotah Bark. We are so blessed to have someone care so much for our dogs and help us out when we needed to leave them longer than expected while we visited family out-of-state. Highly recommend and your pup will get the attention and care they need while you’re gone.
