Posting this review on Sunday, November 22, 2020. If you plan on coming here today or within the next week, I’m giving you a heads-up that there’s H2O a’plenty covering the trail when you get to the south side of the lake at the GW7 marker. I was planning to connect through from GWA to the Flagler Trail this morning. But I’m not into walking through shin-deep swamp water when I can’t see what’s in there. I’m cool with working through some mud, but this is not my jam. Other than that, I love this place. Well marked and maintained trails. Look forward to coming back in a week or two if the rain holds off.

This is a beautiful place for some quick hikes with a fishing pier near the trailhead. A little longer hike will take you to the very scenic Econlockhatchee River.
