Located in Waynesboro, Virginia, Coyner Springs Dog Park offers an expansive pet-friendly space where dogs can roam and play off-leash. Unlike traditional dog parks with fenced enclosures, this area is comprised of beautiful open fields with tall grass and scenic trails, providing an outstanding setting for dog-friendly hiking and active play. The park is wheelchair accessible, making it a welcoming spot for everyone.
What sets Coyner Springs apart is its natural layout: there are no fences, allowing dogs the freedom to run and explore. There’s a small river where dogs can hop in for a swim, and the pathways are perfect for long walks. If you’re looking for a wide-open dog park in Waynesboro for your pup to stretch their legs and enjoy some fresh air, Coyner Springs is a top local choice.
We really shouldn’t call this a dog park. Have you ever seen a real dog park? Nothing like this that’s for sure. I would like to see a fence on the road side of the park as well as places for your dog to drink water. I drive to staunton now when I take the dogs to a “dog park” much nicer and dog friendly there.
Beautiful park with huge open fields of tall grass for your dog to play.
Unless I’m at the wrong place, it’s just a field on the side of the road.
was once a beautiful dog park walk area. Until waynesboro did all these Construction
Imagine if you will……a park….for dogs. No fences. No, really. That’s what this is. It’s not a dog park. It’s a park. For dogs. A whole park. Where the dogs get to run around like we get to run around and parks. It was the best experience for my dog goes. There’s a little river that they can hop into their paths for them to run along. I wish we lived here because, they had the most fun ever. There is places for you to throw balls and I would give this place a 400 star review if I could this was the best place ever and I would take them every day if I lived here. I was looking for the Fence area and people were looking at me as it was crazy. Lol love love love.
