My kids loved this park! It was a great stop to burn off some energy on our 3 day road trip. Loved that there is open space to run and a little creek in the back.

This is a nice, quiet park tucked away in a neighborhood. It has a playground, a ball field and a nice open field. It’s a great place to take kids and/or dogs for some fun. It’s a gem of a place if you find it!!!

Small but has a huge baseball field attached to it I’ve noticed doesn’t get used too much. Summer neighborhood kickball league Sundays here we come! Henrico parks has done a good job maintaining and updating the park equipment. There’s also a great little creek behind the park to walk along and enjoy with older kids. Last summer we actually able to do some geocashing at this location as well!

Woodman Park is a true hidden treasure nestled in a neighborhood setting. It’s the kind of quiet escape you stumble upon and think, “How did I not know about this before?” The playground was just renovated, and the ball field and vast open field make it perfect for a fun-filled day outdoors. They even added soccer nets recently.

Dog owners, rejoice! The park is super dog-friendly. With the sprawling field, it’s an ideal spot for your furry buddies to run and exercise. But the cherry on top? The serene hiking trail that meanders along a peaceful creek. Whether you’re looking for a leisurely stroll or an active day out, Woodman Park checks all the boxes.

So if you’re in the mood for some simple, outdoor joy, make your way to this gem. Trust me, you’ll be glad you found it!

Nice park with a basketball court and playground for kids. From out of town and went with a friend to take our dogs, but its not fenced off. Big open space for them to run around and away from the road, but much better suited for cookouts, picnics, gatherings, etc
