Fountain Green Park is a spacious and tranquil community park located in the heart of Fountain Green, Utah. While not a dedicated dog park, this well-maintained public space is known for its extensive grassy areas, large mature trees providing ample shade, and peaceful ambiance—making it a great stop for families and visitors seeking an open, natural setting. Many come for local events like the annual Fountain Green Lamb Days, where the park comes alive with parades, craft fairs, and various activities.
This park features a playground with classic equipment such as a metal merry-go-round and monkey bars, as well as a sizable pavilion for gatherings and plenty of picnic areas under the shade. Clean restrooms, available seating, and accessible fresh water from fountains and spigots add to its convenience. However, please note that according to recent reviews, dogs are not allowed in the park, so it is not a pet-friendly or off-leash dog park destination.
My childhood park =) I grew up just two houses from this park. I remember when they brought in the dragon stairs. I loved playing here as a child. And now that I have 5 children. Taking them to the park and seeing them discover it as I did as a child was just beautiful! 10 stars. And 10 stars to the lawn and maintenance =)

Large park for such a small town. Nice bathrooms. Fresh water available from spigots and drinking fountains. Lots of large trees and seating. Fun playground with an old school merry-go-round.

Kids loved the playground because it has the metal merry-go-round that goes fast, the monkey bars that I played on in the 70’s, and the backhoes for kids. There are no dogs allowed in the park which is bothersome if you are passing through and looking for a place to walk your dog. It’s very peaceful and well-maintained.

We have been coming to Fountain Green Lamb Days for a few years and LOVE it! We always watch the parade, talent show and our children like to play the small fair style games. The craft fair always has a mixture of exciting booths with all sorts of toys, books, clothes and other items. We haven’t had the opportunity to join in the Friday evening events nor the meals in the evenings. BUT the lamb sandwiches served for lunch are fantastic!
My family also enjoys this park. It is HUGE with a variety of things to do. And there are lots of trees and shaded areas to enjoy.
The only downside to the park is that it is not very toddler friendly. My kids are young and become frustrated with the play equipment since it’s too large for them. There is not a child swing either (the bucket swing). So my youngest cannot enjoy the swings yet.
