Always homeless people here. Every time I’m there, which is 2-3 times a week. There were homeless men right outside the bathroom. You can’t close the door for some reason, so we had to go to a nearby office building to borrow their restroom. It didn’t used to be this way. I used to live downtown SLC, so I know first hand how unhoused people obviously struggling with drugs can be extremely unpredictable. I’ll never feel safe at this park as long as these people are hanging around here. There are better places for them than a nice little family park.

It’s a cool place to relax in the shade under the trees I liked it as a restroom and a pathway to walk and picnic tables and barbecue things and and it’s fenced in with the kids can play in the playground and not run in the street it’s I think it’d be cool to walk your dog there too thank you Jeff

Sweet little park and basketball court. The playground seemed to be pretty popular with the kids, and the pinecones were great! 😆
The men’s room seemed to have sprung a leak or had an overflow, but the women’s bathroom was fine.

It’s a hit or miss!!
Pros:
It’s nice and well kept. It has everything that the parks of this city has: playground, public restrooms, picnic area with cover, a nice short walking path, and a discreet Basketball court in the back, which due to its position doesn’t disrupt nor disturb visitors.
Cons:
* Some parents allowed their tweens to ride their bicycles on the walking path, which is not the purpose of it 🙄
* Some adults young men use half of the park for their soccer practice: 1) They kick the ball with all their might against the wall!! And yeah, the sound is disruptive and disturbs the peace and quiet 🤨 Because that park wasn’t built for soccer nor with soccer in mind 🙄 2) They have soccer balls spread all around the space. So they monopolize fifty percent of the park or more and ruin it for the rest of the visitors!! 🤨 A very inconsiderate behavior for the rest of the visitors who are looking for some peace and quiet, so much for that 😒
* The problem is that you don’t know when the nuance are going to be there because they are random. Might as well skip it all together!!
